Goodbye mulled wine, hello Brooklyn Queens! This hot gin punch was created by Rob Montgomery, and the winner of a special jury award at our 2010 cocktail competition in Toronto.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups Victoria Gin
  • 1 1/4 cups Madeira
  • 1 1/4 cups Sweet vermouth
  • 1 cup Vintage port
  • 1 Pineapple
  • 1 cup Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup Honey
  • 3 Cinnamon sticks
  • 2 Cloves
  • 10 Orange zests
  • 1 Star anise

Method

Combine ingredients in a non-reactive saucepan. Mix well. Simmer for at least 20 minutes. Be careful never to boil. Serve in teacups… or miniature bathtubs!
