Though it was created as a hangover cure, this classic cocktail is sure to shake some life into your evening and is guaranteed to perk up you and your taste buds. It was made famous in the 1930 Savoy Cocktail Book by Harry Craddock.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Victoria Gin
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz Lillet blanc
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 dash Absinthe
- 3 Cherry
Method
Combine ingredients in a shaker. Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with fine cherries or an orange twist.
