Speaks for itself!  This cocktail just may be the final word in classic cocktails.   The Last Word was an invention of comedian Frank Fogarty, who created it at the Detroit Athletic Club in 1916.  At 35 cents, it was the Club’s most expensive cocktail!  The prohibition-era favourite disappeared from cocktail menus around WWII to be rediscovered by Murray Stenson in 2004.
