Goodbye mulled wine, hello Brooklyn Queens! This hot gin punch was created by Rob Montgomery, and the winner of a special jury award at our 2010 cocktail competition in Toronto.
Ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups Victoria Gin
- 1 1/4 cups Madeira
- 1 1/4 cups Sweet vermouth
- 1 cup Vintage port
- 1 Pineapple
- 1 cup Lemon Juice
- 1 cup Honey
- 3 Cinnamon sticks
- 2 Cloves
- 10 Orange zests
- 1 Star anise
Method
Combine ingredients in a non-reactive saucepan. Mix well. Simmer for at least 20 minutes. Be careful never to boil. Serve in teacups… or miniature bathtubs!
