Here, the Daiquiri has been reinvented using Victoria Gin by our team at the Victoria Distillers lounge for the Art of Cocktail 2016 – a 1950s Cuban-themed affair!

We find the lime juice cuts the sweetness of the syrup and Cointreau beautifully in this cocktail.  The lavender sugar rim is optional and could also use plain sugar instead.  Cheers!

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Victoria Gin
  • 1/2 oz Cointreau
  • 1/2 oz Strawberry Bitters
  • 1 oz Vanilla and Lavender Syrup
  • 1 oz Lime juice
  • Rim Lavender sugar

Method

Rim glass with sugar, if you wish.  Combine ingredients on iceShake and strain into prepared glass.
